Hi! My name is Erin. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Registered Art Therapist at Ebb & Flow Counseling.

I believe therapy is a collaborative experience, and I value working in tandem to create a plan to meet your unique goals from the therapeutic space. I understand starting therapy for the first time, or starting with someone new can be an intimidating process so I strive to provide a safe space of zero judgment to allow authenticity to flourish. I love to support clients in exploring all aspects of their lives through a compassionate lens. You are uniquely you, therefore, I find it important to explore what techniques and skills are best for your journey of growth. I pride myself in being an advocate for all marginalized populations. I work with children and adults using a client centered approach combined with mindfulness techniques, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), psychoeducation and narrative theories.

In addition to being a counselor, I am also an art therapist. I love to utilize creativity as a means for healing, self-exploration, insight and mindfulness. Art therapy can facilitate emotional release, stress relief, empowerment and can help you express experiences and feelings that may be difficult to express through words. Art therapy is about the process over the product, and it is important to know that you do not have to be an artist to benefit from art therapy, it can be beneficial for anyone. I provide individual art therapy sessions as well as monthly groups!

In my spare time you can find me walking my dog Olive, kayaking on Lake Erie or experimenting with new recipes! My point of view is from a kind, genuine heart and I believe growth isn’t just a goal to accomplish, but it is an evolving process. I strive to diminish the stigma of mental health and remind humans that it is okay to not feel okay!

I look forward to working with you! To schedule online, please use the link below. If you’re having trouble finding appointment times, please give us a call at (216)543-5232 or email at hello@ebbandflowcounseling.com .
