LEAD CLINICAL/CLIENT RELATIONS SUPERVISOR

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for The Lead Clinical/Client Relations Supervisor role. This person plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical aspects of Ebb & Flow Counseling while maintaining a strong focus on client relations. This position requires a seasoned mental health professional with leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services in a group setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Supervision:
    • Provide clinical supervision to a team of counselors, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, best practices, and relevant regulations.
    • Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support professional growth and development of counseling staff.
    • Collaborate with counselors to develop treatment plans and intervention strategies for clients.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and assess the quality of clinical services provided by the counseling team.
    • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of care.
    • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
    • Support the Client Care Coordinator team in addressing client concerns and feedback.
    • Foster a client-centric environment by promoting a positive and supportive client experience.
    • Collaborate with counselors and client care coordinators to resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Training and Development:
    • Organize and facilitate ongoing training sessions for counseling staff, covering topics such as therapeutic techniques, cultural competence, and emerging trends in the field.
    • Support the professional development of counselors through mentorship and educational opportunities.
    • Hire, train, and onboard new team members.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the administrative team to coordinate scheduling, billing, and other operational aspects of the practice.
    • Foster a collaborative and cohesive team culture among counseling staff.
  • Clinical Program Development:
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of clinical programs offered by the practice.
    • Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical services.
  • Counseling:
    • Carry a caseload of clients and provide diagnostic, treatment planning, and intervention services.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive client records.
    • Generate reports on clinical outcomes, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed mental health professional with Supervision designation and significant post-licensure experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a counseling or mental health setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and legal requirements in mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.

Expectations:

  • Carry a caseload of 20 client sessions per week.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 supervision sessions per week.

FULLY LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

Job Description

At this time, we are seeking part-time (minimum 10 hour availability) to full-time fully licensed clinicians for an independent contractor position. Clinicians can work in-person, fully virtual, or have a hybrid schedule. At this time only independently/fully licensed clinicians will be considered. The applicant should hold the same values of acceptance of all people that come into the therapeutic space and a desire to continue learning and growing with the counseling field. The ideal applicant will have experience and expertise in DBT, ACT, CBT, anxiety, trauma, depression, and/or mindfulness. As a Mental Health Counselor at Ebb & Flow Counseling, your primary responsibility is to provide therapeutic support and counseling services to individuals (and/or relationships, families if applicable) dealing with various life changes, transitions, or mental health struggles. You will work autonomously on a team of clinicians with the support of Client Care Coordinators to help foster a confidential and supportive environment for clients. This role requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and the ability to establish trustful relationships with clients. Organization, timeliness, independence, and appropriate record keeping is necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health concerns, history, and current life situations.
  • Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Treatment plan using evidenced based tools and interventions.

Individual Counseling:

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and develop personalized treatment plans.

Safety Assessment:

  • Perform safety assessments if/when a client expresses safety concerns to themselves or others.

Confidentiality and Ethics:

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • Educate clients on their rights and responsibilities in the counseling relationship.

 Documentation:

  • Keep thorough and accurate records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical documentation standards.

Collaboration and Referrals:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Make appropriate referrals to specialists or additional support services.

Client Education:

  • Provide psychoeducation on mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
  • Assist clients in developing skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges.

Professional Development & Licensure:

  • Stay updated on the latest research, treatment modalities, and ethical standards in the field of mental health.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops or training.
  • Keep in good standing with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board
  • If provisionally licensed, will seek full licensure status when eligible.

Qualifications

Education: Successful completion of a Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or related degree.

License: Fully independent licensed clinicians (LISW, LPCC, LIMFT). Will not consider provisionally licensed clinicians at this time.

Experience: 2 years (or more) experience of one-on-one talk therapy.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing one-on-one counseling services to clients.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.

POSITION FILLED: CLIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time Client Care Coordinator. The Client Coordinator is the voice of the office. They are responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, working closely with clinicians, and collecting information to complete client intakes. A successful applicant for this position would be someone that is empathic, friendly, and engaging with our clients. Someone that is excellent at problem solving, customer service, and enjoys helping others would be a great fit for our team. Organization, timeliness, independence, and technology proficiency is necessary for this position.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an Associates Degree with a focus in Healthcare Administration or Administration Assistant

Job Type: Part-time: Approximately 20 hours, afternoon/evening shift (until 6:30p) Monday-Thursday. This position is in-person with the potential for a hybrid (in-person/work from home) schedule upon completion of training and onboarding.
